Business Writing Tips
Business Writing Tips
When composing a blog, letter or email, it can help to bear the following tips in mind:

- Use simple and clear words to get your readers' attention. Don't write long, boring sentences - rather use short sentences and paragraphs. Try not to repeat words.

- Check online grammar resources to correct your grammar or ask someone who has learnt English as a first language.

- Never use jargon - unless you're talking about a particularly technical topic.

- Practice! It is important to practice your writing as this will help you to develop confidence.

- End your email or letter by using "Kind regards".

- Attend a business writing course.

- Read more! The more you read (books, magazines, etc.), the better your chances for developing good writing skills.
