Five minutes is all it takes for you to figure out very simply how to better manage your time, and in the process find time that you never even knew you had!
It's easy, just grab a pen and paper, draw up a table with two columns - one for Week and one for Weekend - then jot down the total number of hours you're awake for each (you'll have to do a little subtraction and multiplication here).
Once you've determined the number of hours you spend awake you can start to break them down into time spent working, preparing for work and the next day, shopping, doing chores around the house, relaxing with friends and family etc.
At the end of this exercise the sum total of all of your activities should equal the number of hours you spend awake.
Now take a closer look at how you spend your time…. Were you aware of how much time was being taken up by technology (TV, computers)? Can you ease your morning rush by moving preparation times to the day/night before?
It's easy to complain about not having enough time - it's another thing altogether to actually break down your time usage and find real solutions.
