Facebook is a wonderful tool. It's helped us reconnect with old school friends, keeps us up to date with all the latest happenings in our communities and makes staying in touch with the people we love (and those we just like) just so much simpler.
But then you also get those individuals who don't seem to understand what Facebook is for, and end up making the whole experience a much less enjoyable one for all of us.
So, if you notice yourself in any of the following descriptions - cease and desist immediately.
Posting pictures of undeserving food. This is never okay, even if you've added an Instagram filter. Heck, especially if you've added an Instagram filter. Your tuna and mayo sandwich doesn't look half as good to us as it does to you so keep it to yourself, please.
Like This Photo if You Hate Cancer… Seriously, what is with these posts? Of course I hate cancer, we all do, but your backhanded attempt to guilt me into liking and sharing your picture really just ticks me off…
Religious debate? Facebook is the perfect place to air my views! Just… no. It's not. And there's no excuse for it (and in case you didn't know, you're not going to change anybody's mind anyway).
Constant nagging/drama. When you constantly fill our timelines with stories of your cheating boyfriend, or how you're sick of listening to the baby next door or dog or construction worker, or that you're having the worst cramps in ages, all we think is, "Who cares? Deal with it like everyone else."
Fake glamour. It's okay if there's nothing all that exciting going on in your life at the moment, it's when you pretend there is that it starts to get irritating. When I know for a fact you spent the whole weekend with your cat on the couch you shouldn't update your status thanking everyone for what you consider "totes the best weekend of my lyf guys!"
