Well that's a sixth of the year gone in what seems like the blink of an eye. Funny how time seems to do that isn't it? Some days it'll drag on and on and on and other days you look back and wonder how it got to Friday so quickly.
For me this whole year has been like that - like the last part I mean, about all the Fridays - each week seems a little quicker than the last and it feels like before you know it we'll be preparing for 2013 (assuming the Mayan's were wrong of course, but by now you should know how I feel about them).
Perhaps it's because I've been so busy this year. The workload hasn't let up since we reopened in January, which is great, but I find that by the time I lift my head for a breather it's four o'clock and another day has drawn to a close.
I'm not complaining though. I love the energy this amount of work provides, I find I'm too busy to get bored or uninterested or lazy, the difficult tasks are being checked off my to-do list at a rapid rate and the results are finally beginning to show in earnest (which in my opinion is more of a motivator than anything else!).
So bring it on I say, keep the work coming and let's see out the whole of 2012 with this much enthusiasm!
