Personal details
Make sure your name, address, phone number and email address are current and easily visible. This will make it simpler for potential employers to get in touch with you.
Education and qualification details
List the names of schools and academies you have attended along with the years you were there and the highest grades passed; be sure to put your most recent achievements first.
Employment history
List all your applicable work experience, including job titles, company names, start and finish dates and your duties while employed there. List achievements and responsibilities, but also specific ways in which you helped the company achieve its goals.
Additional Skills
Add to your resume any skills that you have developed that are relevant to the post you are applying for, i.e. organisational skills, computer skills – MS packages, Photoshop, etc.
Referees: addresses of two
Include at least two references - one of these references must be your current or most recent employer. Include their name, job title, company, company address, telephone number and email address.
Cover Letter
Some companies expect a cover letter with CV. This letter gives you a better chance to get across your personality, ambitions, and to explain any gaps in your CV. The other important thing when writing a CV is to make sure you check your spelling and use a good, simple format.
