Stock Loss Prevention

https://www.stafftraining.co.za/blog/stock-loss-prevention

Did you know one of the most common causes of stock loss in a retail establishment is, next to shoplifting, employee theft?

This means that often the people we're trusting to look after the merchandise in the store are actually the ones taking it, and there are many, many ways for them to do this.

However, while the odds may seem stacked against us (both our customers and staff want to steal our stock?!), like with most things in life a strong knowledge on the subject is the best way to face it.

Knowing what procedures to implement, when to watch staff more closely and how to tighten in-store security are all ways in which we can reduce stock loss - something which in these uncertain economic times is absolutely essential.

Staff Training now offers a new one-day Stock Loss Prevention workshop which covers shoplifting and employee theft in detail, looks at measures to reduce shrinkage and provides sound examples of loss control systems.
