Working with a highly individualised diagnostic report, our coaches are able to ascertain the behaviour of an individual and more importantly their motivation behind the behaviour, with the latter then able to serve as an accurate predictor for future decision-making.
The Enneagram recognises that individuals have certain strengths and weaknesses that collectively lead to or originate from specific self-talk and a world view that is unique to that individual, but when analysed also makes perfect sense within the framework of this incredible tool.
Recognising this self-talk often brings about an "aha" moment for the leader, and often with a sense of "oh dear there I go again" Leaders are then able to access the areas of growth that are available, using certain decision making tools as opposed to remaining focused on one perspective only.
For example: The number 2 on the Enneagram is also known as the Considerate Helper and this person is often working extremely hard to be helpful. Your 2 leader is often a behind-the-scenes leader or if they are at the helm of the organisation they are inclined not to seek the limelight openly.
In fact the 2s are known to be hard working and often in service of others. But what motivates your 2 to behave in this fashion and how does this behaviour and their self-talk get them into hot water from a leadership perspective?
Attend our Enneagram conference on the 10th and 11th September 2015 to see how the Type 2 leader can enhance their decision making and broaden their perspective to drive for better results.
