Aim/Intro

This workshop together with Prepare Performance Reviews is intended for people who are or who aspire to become supervisors or line managers at any level.

Persons credited with this unit standard are able to set performance goals and measures; to formulate development plans and to monitor and evaluate performance.

Aim/Intro

Use valid, current and sufficient evaluation techniques

Align performance goals and measures with organisational and industry practices and values

Monitoring and assessing performance goals – how to do this and ensure ongoing and regular assessments

Record Keeping

Doing the analysis of performance records, identifying variations in performance and compiling a suggested plan of action.

Giving feedback to address competence gaps and poor performance, recognizing good performance and revision of performance goals where necessary

Ensuring feedback is constructive, tactful, honest, respectful and is focused on performance
