It's A Dog's Life - [website] Published: 14th of Jun 2011 by: (c) Staff Training Reporter
Sometimes, when life gets a little too hectic, it can help to take a step back and find pleasure in the simpler things life has to offer.
For some this in itself can prove rather challenging, but to get an idea of how it’s done one only needs to look as far as man’s best friend, his dog, to find the answers.
Here is a list of some of things our canine counterparts can teach us:
1. When someone is having a bad day, be quiet, sit close by and nuzzle them.
2. Delight in the joys of a long walk.
3. Instead of pouting and sulking when scolded, run back and make friends.
4. When happy, let the world know by wagging your tail and bounding around.
5. Be loyal.
6. Don’t bite when a growl will suffice.
7. Let others know when they’ve invaded your space.
8. Eat with gusto and enthusiasm.
9. Remember that if what you seek is buried, dig until you unearth it.
10. When it’s in your best interest, practice obedience and restraint.
